We finally got through the 7 min barrier but only by doing 8 min, 7 min and 6 min run with 2 min walk in between.. we’re hoping to do same again at the weekend and then up the middle run to 8 mins. Phew, this is hard work!!

How I did it: I bought lots of nice juices, brought my car when I went out so I KNEW I couldn't even have one drink and I forewarned all my friends... who were actually quite happy to stick to soft drinks too! Read how I did it…
How I did it: My sister and I decided to do this as a New Year Resolution and a fundraiser for a local charity, so that gave us some incentive to get it organised straight away. I’ve been car-sharing to work (good ol’ enviromentally concerned me!) and this has helped because I know I have to pick someone up at 8.15.. but on days when I drive to work on my own, like today I don’t leave the house till 9.20!!! I hit the snooze button till it it eventually gave up on me.
My sister struggled with it today, I was kinda OK. Its still a killer but I had the power of music behind me…I had just reached the last hill when Harder, Better, Faster, Stonger by Daftpunk kicked in on my IPod and it gave me the push I needed to run up that hill with a smile on my face. :)
