http://www.penpalpost.com is a pretty good site for finding penpals and epals.
Sometimes corresponding could end up feeling like a chore maybe because we don’t really have much in common. I find that the long time penpals I have are those I can relate with one way or another.

I’m pretty shy in real life and I can express myself better with writing. I have a few close online friends I’ve known for quite a long time now. We exchange letters too and small gifts (trinkets, stationeries, etc.). I love them! :-)
