I have been thinking about getting a bike for a few reasons. The first is that it is better on the environment for me to ride a bike instead of drive my car. The second is that gas prices are just silly expensive. They are going back up again, and I am tired of watching the prices. Third, riding a bike would help me get into better shape. I have been pretty sedentary lately, and it would be nice to get active again.
As I live in a pretty car-centric place I don’t think I will give up my car just yet. That is something I would eventually like to do, even if just for a little while. But that is a goal for sometime in the future. The bike comes first!
Since I can ride public transit for free, I am hoping that I can get places a lot cheaper if I pair taking the bus with my bike.

My scrapbook is finished! I finished the last page and redid two pages that didn’t look right and were bothering me. The pictures look great and I’m really happy with the way it came out.
Things left to do to accomplish this goal:
- Get an album for leftover pictures for display
- Get a box to put all other leftover pictures in

Terri and I went to go see Avenue Q at the Orange County Performing Arts center. It is one of her favorite musicals, if not her favorite. She had never seen it before, but she had the soundtrack memorized.
Avenue Q is just so much fun! It is absolutely hilarious. I laughed out loud so many times! The characters in the musical are puppets, which made it really unique. They were able to do some things that they wouldn’t have been able to do if the characters weren’t puppets. The sex scene with naked puppets comes to mind.
The overall plot is a 20something just out of college trying to figure out his “purpose.” One of the subplots is an uptight republican banker coming to terms with being gay, also told with much amusement.
My favorite songs, and this will also give a bit of the character of the musical, were “The Internet is for Porn” and “Everyone’s a little bit Racist”.
I’m really glad I went to see this musical and I’ll definitely go again the next time it is town!
