I’ve got catsup without it, I drink Boylans soda which doesn’t have it, I buy rolls without it… You can really eliminate a lot of it by just being selective in what you buy.

I suppose that, technically, we have witnessed the end of IE on the Mac. In fact, here is what Microsoft has to say:
“INTERNET EXPLORER FOR MAC NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
In June 2003, the Microsoft Macintosh Business Unit announced that Internet Explorer for Mac would undergo no further development, and support would cease in 2005. In accordance with published support lifecycle policies, Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer for Mac on December 31st, 2005, and is not providing any further security or performance updates.
Accordingly, as of January 31st, 2006, Internet Explorer for the Mac is no longer available for download from Microsoft. It is recommended that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Apple’s Safari.”
So… Yay?
So do most of us annoying people annoy others by talking too much, or do some of us do physical things to annoy people as well? I’m definitely a talker.
Well the kids handled it pretty well, even though the place we went to was terrible. (See Bark River Campground: Worst Campground Ever for the full story.) They definitely want to go again, just someplace else next time.
We’re planning a camping trip with the kids in 2 weeks. It’s a campground with a pool and other ‘civilization’ amenities, which will probably be good for their first time.
I didn’t really want to do this, but I ended up doing it, so I figured I would add it to the list. I contemplated whether I would be willing to help other people do this. Hmmmm…
I guess it all depends on your definition of “successful” but I’ve been running a blog continuously since August of 1997, and I still enjoy doing it.
I got a used Burton Air 161. It’s probably a little long for me, it’s old and has a bit of wear, but it’s a Burton, and it was cheap. Now on to bindings…
I was going to try to buy a new board, but even last year’s models are a bit out of my price range, so I’ve been looking on Craig’s List and found a few that may work. (I do have my own boots, which I got new, so it’s really just a board and bindings I need to worry about now.) My thought is that since I’m really new at this, anything name brand I can buy will be better than the rental stuff, and for a starter board (and my lack of ability) used will probably be fine.
November 11th, 2006, I’ll be at the Hackathon...
That should do it.
Instead of working “full-time” at 1 place, I am working at least 40 hours per week by doing 2 part-time jobs, and running my own business. So for now, I’m cool…
In the past few months I’ve really gotten better at authoring CSS. I’m getting more and more challenging projects. I’m loving it…
Organizing a BarCamp was definitely a lot of work. I told at least one person to not even consider it if you already work 40 hours a week. ;)
You definitely need a team, but truly anyone can do it. If you want any advice, feel free to ask.
BarCampMilwaukee was awesome, everyone had a blast, learned things, and made new friends… I can’t wait until the next one!
In a few days I will be have reached this goal. BarCampMilwaukee is this weekend!
Ok, well, I didn’t get to do this last year, but I’m now planning on going in Jan. 2007… tentatively… (Definitely! Jan. 6th, 2007)
