Well, I have done this before, but want to do it again. Sometime in 2005 I hope.

I used the Mozilla Suite for years and years, and when they started that whole m/b thing I kept an eye on it, and eventually, Firefox became usable. Yay!
It’s a good thing, it’s open, your data is not locked up, there’s a nice API. It’s beau.ti.ful!
Gmail is nice, I don’t use it as my primary account, but it’s fun to hack and see what it can do. I suppose for some people it would make a fine primary account, I just prefer more control over my mail.
It’s nice to control your online identity rather than be nameless@hotmail.com or be found at faceless.blogspot.com ;)
Even if you can’t code, you can test, write up docs and tutorials, evangelize, and promote, and give feedback. Ok, I’m only half kidding… I’ve been to Chicago many times, and some of the experiences have been good, and some have been not so good. Hmmm, Perhaps I’ll go again and try to change my mind…
The PowerBooks I’ve owned have always been old, used, slow, but still reliable. Sometimes 5 or 6 years past the date they were released. PowerBooks are great machines though, and still useful long after most Wintel laptops give it up. But someday, I’d love I shiny new top of the line tricked out PowerBook… Someday…
I’ve managed to get Wiki’s accepted in the workplace, and also use one for my own personal stuff. Grocery lists, Movies I want to see, API keys I can never remember… I’ve found it very useful. Obviously if you have any personal info you don’t want to share, password protect your wiki. I myself like UseMod Wiki for it’s simplicity.
I sometimes play with the kids, it’s not competitive in any way, and it really helps them learn words and puzzle solving skills.
