Master this shirt-folding technique
not so great 3 years ago

I watched the video again and did it, it’s not very practical for me, it seems to be bigger than the way I already fold them if they ar not in the closet. Also, most of my shirts are not the right size for this to work out quite right. Do it if you must for your own curiosity, but it’s not so handy like I thought it’d be.

lose 15 pounds
Easy and hard at the same time 4 years ago

So I stopped drinking, smoking and eating large amounts of fast food, seconds and fried foods. Which is easier than I ever dreamed. I bought a lot of “grab and go” fruits, juice cans, veggies and yogurt. Since I am busy all the time and used to eat fast food as a convenience, this is a time saver, I have more energy and stopped craving the “bad” foods. The thought of a greasy McDonalds double cheeseburger sounds good at first, but then when I tried to eat one I could only taste the grease and it actually made me tired and my stomache upset. No wonder I was always so tired. I was eating food because I was hungry, but the food I was eating wasn’t fullfillng my nutritional needs so I was never quite “full”. I have lost almost 10 pounds with litte exercise- I am excited to see how much more goes off when I am exercising- yeah!

Learn to say no
Difficult but do-able 4 years ago

It’s hard to say no, but once you do it feels like a huge weight taken from your shoulders. Now I need to remind myself this; and work on not feeling obligated to have a reason or excuse to say no- if someone counter excuses me I feel a larger sense of obligation to do something I don’t want. At least I’m not the only person, and I am surprised to see men on here, it makes me feel a LOT better to know that it’s not just women and that there are men that are secure enough to say something about it. If we can say this, why be shy to say no!
