This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve done this cleanse and I am always surprised that the first few days are so hard. I feel like once I make it past the 3rd day it is a piece of cake (in hindsight, although a majority of the cravings are gone), but I forget how hard days one and two are.

Thankfully I have a few people at work that are doing this at the same time as me.

I will be visiting friends in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon in August ‘08. I know it’s a long ways off, but I have been saving money (bit by bit) for the past few months and have made enough to make my deposit for my tickets. I reserved seats through a travel bureau and I only need to make 3 more payments (of $100) to have completed the payments. I’m trying to save as much as I can for travel and souvenirs, and I figure that since I have almost 10 months before I leave, I’m all set!

I’ll be there for a little over 2 weeks and I’ll be visiting over 5 counties (including Cork, where my family is from, in the South of Ireland). If anyone has ever been to Roscommon or Galway area, let me know what I should do!
