I have reached the $5,000 goal. This means I averaged $500 a month, and have therefore reached my goal. I’m not marking this as done, though since I won’t be buying a house yet. We’ll see how much more I can save in the coming year.

It’s not going so well. I had saved $4000 by the end of September, but as of today I only have $4500. This is because my room mate moved out in October, and I had my long distance boyfriend move in but after a week it didn’t work out. My rent has gone up by 100% (since I’m no longer splitting it with another person) and as of January first my rent is going up another $100. I am not giving up, though.

My studying is all lore and no practice…
But they call Asatru “the religion with homework” for a reason and I love the challenge of learning it all!
