I had tried everything and could not break my snooze button addiction. I would press the button over and over and not be awake enough to even be aware of what I was doing. It made me late (10-15 minutes) to work and I am a teacher so I would get there just in time to let my kids in the door. Not good. I received a warning from the administrators. So my husband helped me by whipping out his tools and breaking the snooze button off of the alarm clock. This was in December, 2005. Now in February, 2007 I can honestly say I have not gone back. Since that first day in Dec., I have gotten up immediately and am now proud to be punctual to work. This problem used to cause me such stress and shame and I am so happy to be completely reformed. By the way, they don’t sell alarm clocks without snooze buttons! We tried looking!
