Post Cleanse Day Two of Cleanse Two: What a Wonderful Experience 2 years ago

Today is day two of the post-cleanse. I actually had a grilled chicken wrap and a small salad with no repercussions. The orange juice yesterday tasted like heaven. I had 64 oz of fresh squeezed from Jamba Juice (I am not squeezing 15 – 25 oranges…no sir no way). I weighed myself just to see, and I dropped anywhere from 20 – 24 pounds. That doesn’t sound like alot for 20 days, but keep in mind that I’m 5 foot 2.

I keep getting compliments all over the place! I feel great, and yes, I’ll say it, I look pretty great too! (Sorry for that little spurt of vanity there). Two goals of mine post cleanse:

1. Exercise Exercise Exercise
2. Eat smaller meals full of fresh fruits and veggies. Drink and eat less dairy products and refined processed foods.
3. Go as organic as possible
4. Resume the cleanse in 4 months!

See you guys then! Congratulations on all you who finished your goals and Good luck to the newbies. Thank you so much for your support. Reachforthesky over and out for Cleanse II!

Day Twenty-One of Cleanse Two: Post-Cleanse Day One - Whhaaat? 2 years ago

This happened on my last cleanse as well. The morning after the last day of my cleanse, I had a big solid elimination, probably the biggest in 10 or 12 days. This happened on days 15 and 16 of my last cleanse when I ended as well. I know I should probably go on more since I am still eliminating solids, but I’ve hit the psychological barrier and will be starting OJ and watermelon today.

On my post before I included tips, but for people who are waffling on whether to go longer or not, I’d highly recommend it! Here are some of the things that happened during my cleanse:

1. Tongue turned white, then brown, then pink, but then white and brown again before clearing up back pink once more on day 18. A.K.A. tongue color is not a good indication of whether or not you’re “cleansed”.
2. After Day 7 elimations were more liquid albeit the first one was usually brown. However, after a certain time period, eliminations consisted of the hard dark dark plaque build-up on the colon walls and were solid once more (after “hot BMs”).
3. Woke up every day between 2:00 – 4:30 a.m. with stomache cramping. I noticed the larger the eliminations, the more cramping.
4. I felt worse on Days 7,8,15, and 18. I don’t know if that means that I was eliminating the most toxins those days but I always always felt better after the morning SWF and eliminations.
5. Food cravings turned from worst of junk food early on (burritos, hot wings, fried chicken, McDonalds’s, etc.) to healthy cravings (salads, fresh sandwiches, foods with alot of textures and depth)

Just wanted to share the things that happened to me. Everyone’s body acts different on this cleanse though so just listen to it and you’ll be good. Time for some orange squeezin!

Day Twenty of Cleanse Two: Evening - Free At Last, Free At Last 2 years ago

Day Twenty is almost over and I am ready ready ready to be done. This cleanse made me feel amazing, energetic, and wonderful…but the taste of the lemon drink got so so monotonous. I’m not sure how much weight in sum I’ve dropped, but I do know that I’m fitting in clothes I haven’t fit in for about 3 years. I’m planning on a final weigh in tomorrow morning.

Things I’ve learned and Useful Tips for New Cleansers:

1. Baby wipes. Know them, love them
2. Limes are a nice change from lemons for a switchup in tastes
3. If you’re having trouble with eliminations, try 2 bags of senna tea at night. Very potent! Also, SWF every morning…you won’t believe what comes out after Day 15.
4. For ease of making the lemon drink, buy one of those mini 128 oz coolers with the spigots on the bottom. They’re great for making a huge batch that will last 2 or 3 days and when your on the go…they fill your water bottle up really quick!
5. Read the book carefully! Follow directions!
6. Go for a walk at lunchtime. Honestly, after awhile, watching my coworkers shove their face with food made me nauseous.
7. Keep a mini travel bottle of listerine with you at all times. Your breath gets so rank, plus gargling kills the bacteria and germs in there that may cause mouth sores.
8. Plastic salad shaker bottles from health food stores make killer traveling lemon drink holders. No spills and they have the measurements on the sides so you know exactly how much lemon drink you’re consuming.

So thats some of the things I’ve learned. I also learned what tremendous willpower and discipline we are all capable of. The real challenge will be to carry this in every day living but I know I can do it and you can too. On to OJ and Watermelon Day! I’ll do a couple post cleanse posts and I wish you all luck! Day Twenty over and out!
