i don’t know if this is a goal or an aspiration some days… sometimes i’m on the move, exercising like a serious athlete, and then i just go bust, a whole week or two with no exercise… i don’t quite get the rhythm of this… perhaps I should try a 2 week on 2 week off method, but i’m sure it would be a joke, 2 weeks to get off what it takes 2 weeks to get on, a maintenance plan… in any case, perhaps 3weeks is the key.

today, i did my 4 miler… and i feel pretty good, although i did almost 4 miles yesterday too; and probably shouldn’t have… i’m actually doing a run/walk method to train from jeff galloway’s training book… i’m following the fat burn method to run a marathon, so that i make my goal of getting in shape and losing some weight too… but ultimately i want to run a marathon, so i’m going to follow the plan for the long run days and train… i’m excited so far, because i bought a heart rate monitor, and i move at a slow pace and with the walk breaks in between runs, you feel great afterwards… i’m going to take it slow, and put in the time, any takers out there on this plan, i can fill you in on the details, and do the virtual buddy thing. happy trails
