I’m moving to portland, OR in june and will be driving out there. So i’m currently pondering whether to pretty much just continually drive west and experience whatever i pass along the way, or to plan out a certain itinerary. hopefully i’ll also have a certain friend coming along, and they’ve already voted for the random route, but we’ll see!

This is the first southern state i’ve been able to add to my list, with the exception of FL which is pretty much in it’s own category. charleston was gorgeous even with the rain. i will definitely visit again and hope to explore more and if i’m lucky may even move there-

This is actually going to go up toward the top of my list as i will probably need a car wherever i decide to go to continue school after graduation in april. all but 2 of the schools would require me to live further from the campus without a reliable city transportation system. so the next step is to decide what i can feasibly afford by the end of 6 months. i would love to look at a VW GTI or golf, or some type of small hatchback/SUV :-)
