day 1 afterl lent was over equals so sweet. 4 months ago

i gave up scratch off lotto tickets – a vicious addiction i have – for lent. waiting and withstanding temptation made yesterday so, so, so worth it.

but i spent $30 on tix and only won back $16. ah well.

can always buy more… now.

i’m going to give up buying lottery tickets.

this will be way harder to do than giving up candy or soda, etc.

every time i’m tempted to buy a ticket… i’m going to put that money aside and put it into savings.

oh, i will miss you little scratch-offs.
