What can I say? I want a (half) black president. I’m tired of white male presidents, let’s change it up a little, eh? I always thought I’d go for Hillary whenever she decided to run, and if she does end up as the nominee, I will. However, Obama has totally reeled me in with his openness, views, and, yes, relatively little experience, despite my long held belief that I would be a Hillary supporter. I am a mere two hour drive from D.C., and I would love to one day tell my grandkids that I was there when he became President.
So, my first semester back at the university that I was academically suspended from two years ago just ended awesomely. I missed one day all semester (I went to a music festival out of state….and it was so worth it) and I actually did all of my reading and turned things in on time. I am fairly positive that I will have nothing under a 3.5 GPA, and with some good luck, I can pull off something closer to a 4.0. And a my professor wants me to submit my final paper to an academic conference. I’m smart again, just like in middle school!
