The Winter Vales is about Peter Schraeder, successful in copywriting but unsuccessful in love, who finds himself swept into the dark fantasy world of his ex girlfriend, Shannon Mara Murray, because she can’t let go. He is paired with Uthea, half-elf ranger female, in a world of constant snow and cold and very little sun. Shannon, from our world, seeks to torture him as much as possible with trial after trial, tribulation after tribulation, until she is satisfied. Then she will kill him, then herself.
