I took a 12,063 mile motorcycle ride in 2001 and visited 35 states. I finished my quest with a 5,559 mile ride just this last week to see the last 14 states, all on a motorcycle. I have been to Hawaii but not on a motorcycle. Maybe someday that will happen too.

How I did it: I took a 12,063 mile motorcycle ride in 2001 and hit 35 states in 4 weeks. I drove, and my wife rode the entire distance,This last week I completed another trip of 5,559 miles and visited 14 of the remaining states all on motorcycle.The 50th state, Hawaii, I have been to, but not yet on a motorcycle.
