With BC’s help, and a beautiful weekend, I set this up downstairs in my dining room, which I never use for dining. The desk is a cool old bargain antique and I have a seagrass bulletin board too for ideas and whatnot thanks to BC’s Target shopping skills. All set.

How I did it: I spent a lot of time waiting around for friends to agree on where to go, missed movies I wanted to see because I passively mentioned I wanted to go instead of making a plan, and had to wait four months to try a new bar. But now, all that has changed. If there's something I want to do, i put it in my calendar, invite friends, and even if no one else goes, I do. And it's amazing. Besides, now they are jealous that I am always doing somethi… Read how I did it…

BC has seen the homeland. And eaten at the Waffle House. And gone to Stone Mountain. And met the sisters and Grandma and the parents. And still wants to go to the symphony with me and come over to watch movies, so he must not have been totally scared off by the whole experience. It took ten years, but he’s part of the family now. My gay best friend rules.
I bought a grogeous 20 dollar set from American Stationery and I love it MORE than Crane. So there, big expensive stationery. I win.
