The strangest little thing in Hampden, hon. 19 months ago

I took a glass baby food jar, and glued bits and pieces of toys, jewelry, broken tiles, glass, paper, thread, knick knacks, beads, and little pictures to the outside.

I bought a strong of cheap IKEA lights, only 1.99 and battery operated, and put it in the jar, so you could see the light shining through the strange collage of goodies and thingies.

I closed the jar, and glued a ribbon to the top. I turned the light on, and hung it on my friends’ porch, secretly, as I left the other night.

It sparkled beautifully. I like intoxicated art.

Makin' the video... 20 months ago

I never thought I’d end up in the music biz, and here I am. Terrified. Excited. About to explode.

It’s all coming together, all of the pieces, and the press we’re getting just keeps getting bigger and bigger…

And soon, we will shoot his video. Of course, my real job there will be production, but I bet I’ll bust a cameo, and then it’ll all be over… my face, that is, all over the world.

This is a crazy life we live in.
