Since meeting with a dr last october, I’ve lost 65lbs and am on my way to more. I am having bariatric surgery June 25th and am excited to see the weight melt off…not an easy thing, but a necessary thing

I went to Grand Valley State University and met with an admissions counselor!! I’m so proud of myself! The good and bad thing that happened while I was there was that I didn’t want to leave: I just wanted to go to class and hang out all day. I am finishing my admissions application today or tomorrow with a goal of mailing it on Monday! I am going to the FAFSA site after 43 things to fill out my financial aide forms. I already requested my other two college transcripts to be sent to GVSU so that’s good. . .so hopefully I will be admitted and be able to start winter sememster. I’m not sure if I will be going part time or full time right now. . .have to figure that out with my job. Do I have the time to devote to full time school/homework, my 30 hr wk job and raising my son by myself? or should I go part time? lots to think about. . .but YEAH ME for getting started on this goal finally!
