Started doing Taekwondo and am enjoying it, there’s a grading in a month or so’s time so if i pass that i’m going to call it a success.

How I did it: Joined the Taekwondo club at my university and started going 2 hour sessions 1-2 times a week. A few months down the line I've got my yellow belt and am really pleased with my progress. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Worked my arse off over the last few weeks, didn't think I'd done enough but apparently so. Also did very well in the courswork which meant that when the exams came roudn i already had a fair mark. Read how I did it…
I’ve managed to get it to the point where it only needs finishing and final assembly and setup. I’ve messed up a couple of times most significantly with the fret slots, i’m going to try it fretless first but when that fails (which it probably will) i can always sand the fretboard back and start again. Overall I’m pretty pleased with progress so far. Even if it’s unusable it looks pretty cool, and dammit it’s not bad for a first attempt!
