I’ve always been fascinated by Iceland – can’t wit till I can travel there. For those who have been there, would you say the Icelandic people have any defining characteristics- or have they have been influenced by modern Western culture? Many countries euphemistically claim to have a unique culture.

Faust is definately worth enduring. It can be trying at times – probably due to translation. It completely changed my outlook on life – you’ll ponder & re-ponder Faust’s genuine, beautiful soliloquies for days. Goethe truly is a genius – few writers could give such an honest representation of the human condition
