How I did it: I substituted my soda addiction with juice, water, seltzer waters and tea. I found that I needed the caffeine from cola and went through withdrawal until I started making sugar free teas (no sugar or sugar substitutes). I found that Mint and Cinnamon Teas are best. I have a new fence for my back yard. I have started landscaping the front yard. I have solar lights and a few plants now. I have repainted both bathrooms and have added new fixtures. I am going to have my broken shower fixed soonish. I have an appointment for a new whole house fan. I am making progress slowly but surely. I am even having someone come and clean my house as a birthday present to me.
I am graduating with Honors in less than a week. I will have my Bachleor’s in Business Management. It took me over 10 years to complete this goal due to different life lessons, but I did it. It is so worth doing.
