How I did it: I was offered at age 16 to do leadership training for a new chronic illness support organisation that was establishing itself in sydney 5 years ago. I did a 4 day leadership course and then went on to start co leading and facilitating support groups for teenagers who are chronically ill. I am now on the reference committee and also speak at conferences about the importance of this organisation on teens living with illness. I have now been… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Was asked to first public speak at a youth centre about my life experiences (with illness and transplant and being a teenager with that background) after that i then was asked to speak at rotary club events and now i speak at youth health conventions and medical conferences about being an adolescent with a medical background and psycho social adaption. I used to hate public speaking at school so much i had anxiety attacks but now i LOVE d… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Me and 2 good friends went there one day. It was something me and my mate who passed away had wanted to do together for a while.....it was good to conquer the height and not be afraid standing on the glass platform. Tickets are quite reasonable and the experience while it doesnt last long or involve much is stil worth doing Read how I did it…
