I’m taking a train from Pittsburgh to Toccoa, GA, with a five hour stop at Union Station in DC on January 3rd. I’m so excited.

How I did it: My friend and I decided to be vegetarians for 40 days. After day 5, it was pretty simple. The only thing that was difficult was eating in the cafeteria. I only ate one or two meals in there during this whole thing. Tonight was night 40. I had a double cheeseburger at midnight to celebrate. I don't think I'm going to eat meat regularly anymore, but I'm definitely eating chicken. Preferably a whole one. Right now. Read how I did it…
Almost one year down, at least. I stopped drinking pop on New Years Eve at Midnight because one of my friends said she was giving it up. I decided to make it a competition to see who would drink first. I thought she’d cave in a week or two. It’s almost two weeks until the one year mark, and neither of us have had any.
I just bought some skates today. I’ve been skating in my dorm room between my closet and desk for the past half hour. haha. Tonight: The hallway. Tomorrow: some random building with tile floor.
