Dug out my old fitness DVDs. Found two for belly dancing. 1 week ago

My daughter admitted a passing interest, so I’m going to mail one of them to her. I actually tried to follow along with the other one for a half hour today. I have to say it felt awkward – but that may pass.

I’ve been doing good with my fitness plan lately. On Monday I went to a yoga class and I’ve gone for a walk almost every day for a more than a week now. Today I just didn’t feel like walking, so I worked the DVD instead.

My November appointment is set for the day after Thanksgiving. 1 week ago

I managed to forget all about the one I booked for this Tuesday. The stylist forgave me, thank goodness. I must always take the time to enter appointments with alarms into my cell when I make them—I lose little reminder cards too easily.

Also, my hair is looking smoother and sleeker – I think it’s due to the spray-in conditioner I’ve been using. Plus it smells great – like real, fresh, old-fashioned roses.

Defining the parameters of this goal. 2 months ago

I’m not a fan of my hair anymore, and I can’t get away with just letting it grow, washing it with cheap shampoo and scraping it back into a pony—I feel too frumpy.

To meet this goal, I need to schedule an appointment with Tammi to get it back into shape, (which I have done before.) Then I have to actually go back 8 weeks later to have it trimmed and reshaped (which I have never actually done before.) Then I need to keep it up with trims every two months, into infinity.

To mark the goal complete, I think I need to go to the shop 4 times—in September ‘09, November ‘09, January ‘10, March ‘10. (That covers 6 months, which should gel the habit.)
