I’ve lived in Iowa my entire life. Every year that goes by I hate winter here more and more. I would like to try living somewhere in the south. I still want four seasons, but I don’t want such harsh winters. I’m thinking of places like North Carolina or Georgia. I doubt I’ll actually ever just pack up and move away, but it’s nice to dream about it and have a bit of hope that someday it could happen.

I would love to write for a living some day, but considering that I haven’t really written anything creative in a few years, I think my first step should just be to start writing again. Usually I put tons of pressure on myself about writing and then my brain just closes the door on writing. I have to learn how to stop putting so much pressure on myself for my writing to be perfect.

I used to “swim” when I was younger. I was never actually taught how to swim though. I can keep myself afloat, but if I actually try to swim I can only go as long as I can hold my breath for! Therefore, I want to learn how to actually swim… and breathe while I’m swimming!
