So, to go along with my goal to go to the dentist, I have decided to make a step to become healthier by cutting out all sugar and soda. I know I am going to have my moments where I just give in and have to have one or the other, but I am really going to cut as much out as possible. Cutting out soda is going to be easy considering we don’t really ever buy it and that I don’t really like it any way. Sugar will be harder, but I really want to get rid of it. I am going to cut out candy, cakes, ice cream and pies to start out and then move to cutting out sugar in other food items. Wish me luck!

So, I am actually almost done cleaning my room! I got my husband to take 6 boxes out of our room that was full of stuff we didn’t need in here. And you know, I still think there is a lot of stuff we need to take out of this room. We honestly don’t use anything up here other than clothes, the bed, the lamps and the computer, so it could be all cleaned out and I probably wouldn’t think anything of it.
Anyway, my goals for today is to get the dusting done, switch around the dresser and computer desk, sweep and put away the rest of the laundry. I think I can get that done!
I really need to go to the dentist. See, as a child, I was never taught good oral hygiene and have struggled with keeping a good routine my whole life. Well, ever since I got my tongue pierced, I have been taking really great care of my teeth. I looked at my teeth the other day with a really good flashlight and a mirror and I can tell that I have the beginnings of cavities. I know that with good a oral hygiene routine I can slow the cavities down, but they are inevitable now. My tooth enamel is weak. Also, I have one chipped tooth and another one that is starting to chip, so I really need to go. We just don’t have enough money for something like that. And in order to fix some of my tooth problems, I am going to need Veneers, which wouldn’t be covered by dental insurance even if I had it. And on top of all of that, I am TERRIFIED to go to the dentist. But, it needs to be done….UGH!
