And lots of it!!! We actually have around $6,000 saved up right now and have been keeping it around that much money, which is awesome!!! We are looking at buying a house now because there is one near where we live for about $11,000 and we are going to offer $5,200 because it needs a lot of work. We need to open a savings account sometime soon, but things are great and we aren’t overdrawing our account any more! :D

How I did it: Let me say this first... It was not easy for me!! I think I craved fast food almost every day for the first 4 1/2 months of my 6 months. Basically, I did everything I could to avoid fast food places, which included everything from buying some groceries I normally wouldn't have bought (just to satisfy some cravings) to closing my eyes when I rode past a fast food place. How I did it: So, I first decided what I was good at that I could transform into a gift. I can crochet so I thought, what better gift around the holidays than a hand-crafted scarf? So, I bought my supplies and started crocheting, working on them at least a little every day. I am still working on my baby blanket and I am taking forever! I just kind of forgot about it for a while… teehee. I am over halfway done with it though and I am hoping to get more of it done in the next two weeks. I am on no time line to get it done anyway, except for the fact that it needs to be done before the end of the year. I really love the blanket though. It honestly puts a smile on my face every time I work on it because I know how hard I have been working on it and how my work is going to pay off bigtime when I can eventually wrap my baby up in it or use it for “tummy time”. It will all be worth it.
