Thanks to me trying to kick this habit, I make it a point to keep my lips moisturised all the time. My favourite glosses currently are from Bloom (which I now have to buy online because I can’t get them locally anymore, boo!), and a tinted lip balm range from Clarins. Love them!
They’re a bit pricier than I ever imagine getting a lip gloss or balm for, but that reminds me better not to pick my lips. If they were cheap Vaseline stuff I could toss them, and go back to my habit without a thought. But they’re not, so they make me more conscious of my lips and the importance of keeping them moisturised. And they do the job well!
I think my sudden interest in manga and graphic novels have ‘unfairly’ upped my book count, but it doesn’t matter. I still took time reading a volume of manga, time which I could’ve spent doing other more passive activities like watching TV or taking a nap. In any case, I am also concurrently reading ‘heavier’ books to challenge myself, so it’s not all light reading that I’m doing.

I’m trying this again. Today I bought a new diary/journal to help me do this. I start journalling properly tomorrow (because I already can’t remember what I’ve been eating/nibbling on today :P). The diary will be my new food & exercise journal. I don’t forget to write down what I do at the gym after each session so it’ll be a good way to force me to open it to jot down what I eat at least each day when I go to the gym.
Better record on some days than none at all.
