As of today, I have two months worth of salary in my savings account. This took me about 6 months to accomplish! If I continue this pace, it will take me a year and a half to reach my goal.

How I did it: I nipped a potential life-wrecking habit in the bud, and I feel much better. I only have a little wine on Saturday nights and it's working out great. I don't need it to relax anymore! I stopped using it as a reward to myself for a hard day's work because I work hard every day! Read how I did it…
I live so close to work it’s insane that I let the whole summer go by without walking every day to work! It only takes me about 15 minutes. I usually just get up too late to walk. Pure laziness on my part. I’m going to start tomorrow.
I think my bedroom needs a makeover. I want to get a new comforter and pillows, flowing curtains over my crappy blinds, candles, ect. I want to remove all clutter, add some sort of hamper that doesn’t ugly up the place, like my plastic laundry basket does. I need to put something on the walls…it’s too stark and boring. I want it to be a nice, romantic retreat for me and my husband.
