Early to bed/Early to rise

I’ve come to realized a long time ago that people who go to bed early and wake up early have a longer day to finish their works. Not only that, they have time to finish their to do list and have more time to do other things that they enjoy doing.

Personally, I’m neither an early bird nor a late night owl. I’m kind of in between the two; however, I preferred to be an early bird more because that is how society functioning. I engaged into coffee to make my brain awake (I know…that’s a bad habit) but sometimes I have to do that to wake my mind at 8 a.m. for my classes.

Sometimes, a walk around the neighborhood or the dorm to feel the breeze would wake the brain up as well. But I don’t have the nerve to do that during these winter months.

I will try as best as I can to make it a habit!

Walktober 3 weeks ago

I joined this thing in my school called “Walktober” which you log your exercise (mainly walking) and see how much you’ve walked at the end of the month. October is beautiful during autumn and it’s a chance for you to enjoy the season while getting fit. So far, I noticed that the program gave me good reason to exercise and I was amazed with how much walking I actually did within an ordinary day without exercise( between 3000- 6000 steps).

Well, that was great when there is no rain. Today, it’s so gloomy and icky with the rain pouring non-stop. I thought we’re going to have another flood, I hope not because the previous one placed such a huge impact on my local economy. I don’t feel like walking that much with this weather, I mean, I can go to my school’s gym and stay there for half an hour and be done. However, the weather really has an impact on my mood of getting up, be away from my room, and be active. I thought to myself: I need a lot more coffee to help me not to stay this sleepy. So, I finished a whole cup of coffee, it wasn’t too dark ‘cause I don’t want to stay awake all night.

Will coffee help me with this goal? may be.

Are we all need a boost of something once in a while? may be

But I know that I still have the will to exercise and I don’t give it up. Those are good enough for me.

I can not let the rainy stops me from doing what I suppose to do . This mean that my reasonable to-do-list will be accomplish, including this goal.

well…umm…I’m sick again…I guess I fall off of this goal from time to time. This time, it’s a cold. I went back home within the past few days to have my sister take care of me. Sometimes, eventhough you’re independent, you need your family member more than anything because of this.

Well, I’m glad I keep up with this goal for the rest of other times that I’m not sick. I’m actually feeling a lot better today than yesterday.

So, to all of you who are healthy today, keep up the good work. It’s a great goal to accomplish through out your life time.

My health will be back to normal soon.
