How I did it: I started by reading how others had done it, then I tried to adapt those suggestions to my life and routine. The first thing I did was began drinking a large glass of water after my morning espresso. Very quickly I discovered that I didn't actually want the espresso anymore. After that I added a glass of water just before I went to bed then two glasses at lunch and two glasses at dinner. One more at coffee break in the morning and one mor… Read how I did it…
The main reason I haven’t completed this goal is financial. We ended up having to put quite a bit of finances into other things including our business and as a result I wasn’t able to complete my license yet. Everytime I drive by the airport I am reminded of what I am missing.
Since we are working hard at getting our finances back into order, I am hoping that this year I will be able to complete my exam and flight test…
While it’s not exactly what I’m trying to do with this goal, it does relate. We’ve just hired a business coach for our family business and I’m looking forward to seeing how it works out. Even though we’ve only had one session so far, I am beginning to see the advantages of having someone look objectively at life and business and motivate us to do something about the things we don’t like.
I took a three day course about a month ago put on by Rich Dad Education. It was challenging and I hope to do something with it. Since I took it, I’m working on getting my credit profile into better shape and looking for real estate deals. I’m also planning to take a few more advanced courses as soon as possible
