Today I realized that my harddisks are running at a too high temperature. 55°C! After thinking about buying single HDD coolers I decided that this is crap. My case is 5 years old. Not meant for good air flow or speedy (hot) harddisks.
So I bought a Cooler Master Mystique 631 computer case. I moved all the components from the old case to the new case. For the n00bs: Take some pictures of how the cables are connected. Never use brute force to connect cables.
Now I am enjoying a cool and somewhat silent computer. Just great.

I own a house which has around 300m². During the summer we use the first floor as a holiday flat. Our customers shower a lot when it is hot. Therefore I bought a new heating (fuel-value system) and 3 solar panels. I spent around 35000$. They got installed on my roof and voilá – I am saving a lot on my gas bill. Of course it takes a while until my invest pays off but as I have a 30 years guarantee and a good insurance I am not afraid of any nasty things. At the moment we have quite a lot of snow. The panels are covered with snow so I need to install a window near the panels so that I can remove the snow. Today 16% of the panels got uncovered by a roof avalance. The pump ran on 49% for an hour. Nice. I am also considering to buy an automated lifter for the panels. That way the snow does not stick to it.

Yeah well,
I learned that I will never ever lease or buy a Renault again. I was told by two different mechanics that ONE valve inside my motor is damaged. Just ONE. Not four. Not 3. After a serious motor damage 3-4 are damaged.
It was repaired within 2 or 3 weeks. I had to pay 1500€ because Renault did not accept it under the garanty. Never buy a Renault.
