I learned that I will never ever lease or buy a Renault again. I was told by two different mechanics that ONE valve inside my motor is damaged. Just ONE. Not four. Not 3. After a serious motor damage 3-4 are damaged.
It was repaired within 2 or 3 weeks. I had to pay 1500€ because Renault did not accept it under the garanty. Never buy a Renault.
I virtualized my servers into just one box. I am saving money and power now. It was a challenging task because Xen was really buggy in my version of Ubuntu. However I managed to do it.
Nearly 5 years out there..
well, it’s been a while since I decided to leave my family (parents, house, garden) for a woman. BIG mistake. Now I am back. I can turn on the music during the night. I can do WHATEVER I want. I can modify the way I receive my TV (cable, DVB-T, DVB-S, etc.) I can improve my house/garden/rooms. Lovely..
Well, actually I did NOT buy a QNAP 209PRO as this thingy was too loud for me (the fans). Instead I bought a Synology DS-207+ with 128MB RAM.
Well, it was about time. My old computer is about three years and I also got it used. So, now I have this shiny computer with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+, 2GB RAM and a decent graphic card. It is useful again my little computer :-)
Well, I think I waited long enough. Since 2003 (when I got my first temporary pink slip and later got re-employeed) I thought about leaving this company. I was so stupid to believe that this company will change. I was wrong. So I finally decided to quit and DID IT eventually. Now I am earning twice if not trice a month on salary.
