How I did it: lots and lots of fundraising and letter writing. i'm so glad to say that this goal is completed because our team worked so hard throughout the semester to prepare and raise all of our money. after countless meetings, bake sales and grilled cheese nights, we finally did it. Read how I did it…
a good friend recently said, “new york city is the most comforting and most lonely place in the world” and i have to agree. after spending a year in the city, i decided to return home. looking back it turned out to be a good experience for me because i learned so much but i do have to say that living in nyc was much much different than i thought it would be. if anyone is contemplating it, i encourage you to give it a try. a year is not that long and you will certainly find plenty of things to do and see!
