Almost ready to check this off... 2 months ago

I’ve found a super easy recipe for homemade pizza! Between that and a few pasta varieties, and a simple Caesar salad, I’m good for most days.

Pizza base: mix together flour with a little oil and some water, knead into a dough, adding more flour so that it’s not sticky… Roll out and pre-cook in the oven for a few minutes. Then add your favourite pizza sauce and toppings, and pop back in the oven!

Write every day
Trying again! 10 months ago

I’ve always liked writing, way too much, but I’m getting a little out of practice.

Taking some inspiration from this column by Cory Doctorow, I’ve decided to start writing for 20 minutes a day, every day. I’ll set a timer, and stop dead after 20 minutes.

As for what to write: I have two product reviews I ‘keep meaning’ to write, and I’m sure plenty more ideas are going to keep on coming.

I’ll keep everyone updated on my commitment!

start a webcomic
Wuaah! 10 months ago

Ever since I’ve started doing cartoons for people, I’ve been told over and over, “ZOMG, u gotta do a webcomic!”

Well, fine, but, I have no ideas! The least constructive advice I’ve been given is “base it on the things around you!”, and the most useful has been “make it short at first” (from Phil Gibson of http://lancaster-comic.com/ ).

Any pointers?
