Okay I’m head over heals in deep- infatuated with Yasoko the lead singer. How she’s able to maintain such beauty, poise and grace amidst all the chaos is…. is just wonderment.

I think if I saw her perform `Free the Bee’ live I’d faint like a teenage girl seeing the Beatles live in 1964- something like that.

Melt Banana are just too incredible. Finding them has changed my whole life around. May all the gods bless you Yako.

play bass in a band

Score! 2 years ago

Well I used play guitar- obsessively and then for some strange reason I just stopped! Then recently a friend asked me out of the blue to play bass in his band… AND he’s loaning me a bass until I can get my dream bass- a purple heart shaped daisy rock! Now to get a zoom effects unit and set up a good stack to play it through!

Now just gots to get my chops sorted out!

So… I didn’t make the previously mentioned lessons but a chance encounter at the local India Australia Fair led to a chance to buy a full course on VCD for a paltry $60 and produced by a leading University in New Delhi- what a score!
