Like I mentioned in my “be a good father” goal, my wife of 12 years just divorced me. Since we were highschool sweethearts, I’ve never actually been on a “date”, and the thought of starting such activities makes me a little anxious! :) I think after my first couple of dates, my nervous jitters will be a lot less, so I need to work on getting that first date under my belt.
I put a profile out on Yahoo.com, so I’m hoping some dating-action will happen. :) Wish me luck! ;)
I’m stilling maintaining the same weight, and still get on the treadmill regularly. I’ve been slacking a bit with the weight lifting though because I think I injured my shoulder a few weeks back.
It’s kind of frustrating, becuase it seems like I lift like crazy, but I see little to no gains! :( I’m not giving up though! In fact, I’m going to give the ole pecs and shoulders another go tonight.
This is more of a long term goal for when I’m ready to retire from the IT industry. I envision a laid back atmosphere. Someplace where you can come with your friends or family and enjoy an great za and a pitcher of beer. :)
