new years eve is my best friend anna’s 21st birthday and also my love’s birthday. i want to dress up and drink champagne with my friends. i want to dance and yell and thoroughly enjoy myself. i think a swing style dress will be appropriate. fun and flirty and an excuse to spiff up my wardrobe. i’ve been browsing the net and have found some really great dresses but they are beyond my budget and most of the time the wrong size. i have yet to find the perfect one though.. i will. :o)

and i’ve been knitting a lot lately. so i’ve done it. iv’e made 4 scarves and am currently working on another. i also completed a hat for a friend that didn’t fit right.
now that i’ve been knitting a lot more often i wish i could knit something for myself to wear. i make stuff all the time and never keep them. it feels good to give them away but sometimes i wish i could relish my accomplisments. good shit.

i want a space where i can be myself. a space where i can hum a tune and do whatever i desire. somewhere i can take my shoes off and paint. where i can make a pot of tea and read. where i can develop and print my photographs. where i can play music as loud and pound on clay as hard as i want. where my supplies are endless. with a large flat table space to set up blocks and piece patterns together. a place with tall windows and dripping gutters. a space with live plants and bright colored walls. my own studio.
