i had the flu a couple weeks ago and i was drinking a lot of pedialyte, which is NOT delicious. but i cut it with water so that it wasn’t so THICK. now that i’m all better i’ve been adding concord grape juice to half a cup of water. i love it! it makes me drink more liquid with less sugar. i think i’m just bored by water. i also found out that my city has the worst water in the nation, so even through a brita, i can’t be blamed for finding it horrid!

well, i made an excel spreadsheet to monitor how i’m doing on the one credit card, and i’m doing so much better than i thought! did my taxes and put my return towards the balance on my “problem card” and it’s looking a lot more reasonable, like something i can afford to pay off eventually. i have been struggling with the idea of paying it down with my savings, but in this economy, i like having a little cash on hand. if i pay this card off, i’ll have $50 a month that i’m not wasting due to a finance charge that i can spend on anything i want! i was thinking of adopting a kid through children international ($22 a month) and putting the rest to savings ($30 a week instead of the $20 i save now).
still not doing too well on this one. i’m even more motivated now because of the state of the economy. i have to get this taken care of so that it doesn’t become a problem. i had some really fun dental bills to pay last month, too! also i don’t like the way my credit card company doesn’t report my limit. jerks! i’m going to do some craft shows and use that cash for a small time christmas. then no more craft shows for a while because i thing a lot of my unneccesary spending is on supplies that i don’t necessarily use. sigh! wish me luck!
