Goodness I have NOTHING to show for it…
So I’d take a couple of years hiatus here and there…so perhaps there is a testament to my lack of skill. I would really only call myselt a true student of yoga for one year. Pish posh to the past 6 years of on again off again bs. In the past year, I’ve really found that this is one form of exercise that really inspires me. Exercise? Inspiring?! Who knew?
I really do have much room for improvement. Biggest room for improvement: balance. I will sooner fall on my face than stand on one foot.
Here’s to that old adage: practice makes perfect!
It’s easy when you’re in high school. When you still live with your parents. Everyone is within a 10 minute drive. Then you go to college, and 10 minutes turns into 4 hours. Then you graduate and 4 hours turns into cross-country, or across the pond.
So how to you reinforce that bond you had with your 3 best girlfriends? How about that crazy bunch of kids you met in college? Email. Keep your facebook page updated. Let them know what you’re up to. Send them a message to let them know you’re still alive.
So I’m lost in this web. This false delusion where I convince myself that one day, I’ll be in a place where all of my friends are but a 10 minute drive away. Where I see their faces more than once a year…
But what do I do in the meantime….
