It’s just about the best thing I’ve ever done! I love everyday learning about my new home. I have learned so much more about myself and the world!

Designing my own tattoos felt really good. Now I know that when I see what’s on my arm I feel great, because I designed it with the help of a special friend and it reminds me of that time in my life.

I try to spend ten minutes a day reading my Korean textbook. I watch my movies with Korean subtitles too for extra practice, which is easy to do because the movies here all offer Korean and English subtitles. My goal is to be able to have a real conversation with my friends in Korean! Without as much pointing and grunting as I currently have to resort to.
