How I did it: It didn't get done. It's not going to get done. He's not an organized person, and I am going to have to accept that. Like the saying goes: Don't mud wrestle with a pig -- you just get dirty and the pig likes it. Knowing when to give up is half the battle. Read how I did it…
How I did it: TG surprised me Saturday night by taking me to Fascinations (sex and more store) and to Shotgun Willy's (strip club) in Denver. "Go to a strip club' was one of my goals, but I didn't think I'd ever get there because of the expense so I took it off my list. TG kept tenting dollar bills on the stage for the dancers to dance for me. A couple of them put their boobs in my face, two of them kissed me on the cheek. and one of … Read how I did it…
This turned out very well. After looking at several recipes, I made this one from what I liked best of other recipes. At the last minute, I thought of adding a little kick – green chiles – to what is traditionally a mild chowder. TG took a picture, but I doubt we’ll ever see it. ;)
Corn Chowder
Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce bag) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 bunch scallions, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 (4 ounce) can mild diced green chiles
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled or ½ cup diced ham
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW heat setting 6 hours
(or HIGH heat setting 3 hours) to develop flavors.
Wishing you a fantastic birthday!
And see if you can handle this crunch without puking.
