I made my first on during my 3rd year in college and it was kinda sucky. But my second one was my baby. I have many fond memories of staying up late at night tweaking this and that. You learn so much along the way and it’s a great sense of accomplishment to have your own little place on the web.

I seem to have made a small career out of taking lessons. I’ve had 3 different instructors on and off for the last few years but I still don’t feel comfortable behind the wheel. People tell me if I schedule my road test that will motivate me to improve. I find it hard to be motivated with such good public transportation around.
Yesh, this is definitely one of those things that sounds so easy it HAS to be hard. How do normal cool people meet normal cool people anymore? I live in nyc and striking up a conversation with someone is usually considered a prelude to asking for money, sex, or an attempted conversion to some funky religion. I’ve decided my short term goal should be to make a lasting friendship with someone my age in my own neighborhood. But I’m finding people on friendster and msypace to be as reluctant to branch out as people in real life.
