How I did it: I saved up for 10 years, and invested a nest egg that my mom had given me until I had enough for a down payment. It took 5 months to find the house of my dreams, but here I am. I am so incredibly grateful. Read how I did it…
I’m sure there’s more to learn, but for me, it’s apparently of the “practice makes perfect” stuff. I signed up for an Expert-Level Photoshop class through a well-respected technical university. It was only a 2-day class, but I learned one new thing. Otherwise, I could’ve taught the class.
It was an ego boost and a big waste of money, all in one. Oh well, at least my company paid for it.
I never would’ve had enough time to achieve this if it weren’t for my two hours a day spent on a bus! I think I’m up around 50 books so far (mid-June).
Seizure-free for 3 years, my brain injury has mostly healed itself. I had to promise not to drive a car for 3 months while I went off, but I’m officially medication free! WAHOO!!!!
