I’ll close this, as I have lived here all my life, recently I have visited the last few areas, I have not seen. This can take a lifetime and it has, and there is still so much to see. Worth doing..

I took it for a 6 hour MT bike tour and not just in the city like I usually do. I mean in the back country… Found 4 of 5 caches (1 I was not going near poison oak) All in all, a pretty fun thing to do. Used it for the past month and think it is a pretty cool device.
As a kid I wanted a broken bone, and tried like mad to break a bone, an arm or something probably just to get out of school or some sympathy. When I became wiser at 13, I gave that up, then fast forward into my high school years I finally broke my finger. It hurt like heck, and messed up my baseball season. Never could throw a ball quite the same. It is defiantly not worth it, no matter how you spin it.
I have been informed by someone I would consider a great person that I somehow changed their life, with a recent note that I had sent. I am deeply touched and honored, and in my opinion, I may have touched someone’s life with the words in this note, but I see from a distance what kind of person this individual is, and I am confidant that they will get the chance to change even more peoples lives’ in their future. So I will close this with honor, hopefully with my actions, I can make a difference to those that I meet in life.
Okay so I finally got my bike, but not the Yukon. I spent days researching, looking at my budget, and trying different bikes, I went from Giant, Trek, Specialized, and Iron Horse. So I am finally going to buy a bike this weekend, but I had a very hard time finding the right one. There must be hundreds of different models, with just as many features. I know a little about biking, and know what I want. But on a budget, I also no I can’t spend a lot of money. The bike that fits all my requirements is a 2006 Giant Yukon. I looked at Trek, IBEX, Gary Fisher, and the Trek components were not rated very well from reviews. I might do some more comparison shopping, but if all goes as planned…. I’ll be on the beaten path this weekend.
I’ve seen Tiger hit many times and it is impressive, but if you really want to see someone hit a golfball, try John Daly. Just like Joe 6-pack, hit’s it a mile screwing himself into the ground. Both are fun to watch.
I can’t imagine anyone not liking the trip down Hwy 1. Yes some spots are winding, 300 ft drop to the ocean, but the sheer beauty of this road is awesome. Don’t miss a detour to 17 mile drive..
Nothing better than Fuente Opus X, second favorite, Hemmingway Short Story by Fuente.
Took the kids on a road trip and we came across the Wienermobile in the parking lot of the hotel. It does not qualify as “taking it on a road trip” but we did snap a few photos, met the crew and looked inside. Way cool
I’ve seen Guster twice and enjoyed both concerts. In 2004 at The Greek in Berkley, and March 2006 at The Filmore in SF. I’d see them again, if they make it west again. Favorite songs: Careful, Center Of Attention, Happier.
I was probably 15, family & friends went to the beach at Santa Cruz, CA, and we were walking around some concrete & rock that was placed on shore to break the waves. One of the girls slipped fell down in-between the rocks, hit her head and fell face down in the shallow water. I jumped down, and raised her head above the water, and kept her head above water as the waves came in filled up the pocket, then receded.
I held her there above water until the paramedics arrived to help get us out.
It was scary, but worth it.
I’d really love a 1964 ½ convertible Mustang, but would take any 1960’s Convertible or Fastback, a dream forever.
