i’ve been a Blackberry user for quite a while now, and i’m really not so sure how i could give up my BB.. but now i’m getting tired of having to take my mp3 player AND my phone to the gym, so it’s time to get something more integrated and suited for my revamped lifestyle :)

How I did it: i switched to a new shift at work and had to adjust my body clock drastically! Working nights is definitely NOT the greatest, although in my personal situation, i have my reasons why I'd rather work at night than during the day. When i first started the shift, i really had to train my body to go to sleep even when i wasn't sleepy. if i didn't have enough sleep, i was miserable at work and so i knew i HAD to get my sleep or else i'd suffer… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I visited my family in Arizona for the holidays in 2008 and for New Year's, my cousins and I just decided out of whim to go and try it!I didn't really know what to expect, but i guess i'm one of those people that just gets talked into doing things> I mean, even though I've been wanting to do them, it's not until i get others to go with me that I go and do it too. So we started buying our gear the day before and I knew at… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took a while, but it wasn't until i went skydiving that i knew in my heart i am GLAD TO BE WHO I AM, exactly as is. When i was up in the air i realized two things: 1) no one gives a f*ck about who i am or what i've done, everyone with me who were skydiving were all free-falling, and we were all just humans at that point without anything to parade or flash to anyone else!2) I saw how small things are below,… Read how I did it…

this has been such a long work in progress, but i do feel that my progress as a better listener is directly correlated to my understanding of what it takes to develop great relationships with people; i am thoroughly convinced that being a good listener is one of the foundations of a quality relationship.
I will always be working at this, but from when i started this goal, i know I have totally become a better listener and everyday, it gets easier to stop needing to talk so much, and much easier to be the one listening. i am more interested in what the other person has to offer in the conversation, and how what they say contributes to the overall quality of my relationship with them.
it never ceases to humble me and amaze me when i hear someone play the piano in such a way that reflects the passion of their heart… i know i have that same passion in my heart because it burns so deeply as i listen to someone playing.. i want to know how to read any musical piece so that the only thing left is to infuse my own heart’s passion as my turn comes to play and others listen.
