I met the curator of paintings and prints at my Museum Studies internship I have at MoMA. He is the most amazing man! First off, he’s British and has a very sexy accent. Besides being incredibly attractive (in an older man way), he’s unbelievably intelligent and articulate. I could listen to him talk all day…
We visited the “Out of Time” exhibit that was up a while ago. The exhibition actually got pretty bad reviews, but when I heard his thought process behind it, I actually loved the exhibit- and went back to see it a total of 5 times.

New York is such a fucking stressful place to live in. I’m tired of insane people everywhere, of tourists crowding the subways, of not being able to walk down the street without being pushed or shoved. But on the other hand, I am in love with this city. I can get any food I want at any time of the day or night. I can act like a lunatic, and no one will even give me a second glance. I love the vibrancy, the mix of high and low, the beautiful people, and even the unattractive people are okay…
That’s why I’m going to aim for a college in New England. I figure four years away from the love of my life will be enough to make me miss this motherfucker like crazy.

This book is really worth reading… it’s the most original thing I’ve read in a while. It’s also hilarious. Not in a laugh out loud, David Sedaris way, but more like an ironic hipster wryness that’s just as funny.
Dave Eggers is also an unbelievably nice and intelligent man- I got to interview him for my school paper and he was just the best. Read it!
