Me encanta Ecuador! 22 months ago

I just came back a couple of weeks ago and I am fully in love with Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Such diversity and such beautiful culture could keep me there for years. We climbed Cotopaxi, an active volcano in Ecuador, hiked through the amazon forest, and so much more.

I love that country and will totally live there.

Ecuador and the Galapagos islands 2 years ago

Well I leave in 4 days to Ecuador and Galapagos Islands. Makes me nervous but i have everything ready. All my tools I need, all my prescriptions, all my money ready, and all my emergency information.

I’m going to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands to study plant ecology and tropical plants of Ecuador. We will be horseback riding on a volcano. Snorkling with hammerhead sharks and other wildlife. White water rafting in the amazon river. Hiking through the amazon rainforest. Living with an Ecuadorian family. Attending a Catholic University in Quito, Ecuador. And most importantly, learning about a culture that I never would have, under other circumstances, experienced.

I’ll be there for 5 weeks.

i dont know how to exactly make a difference, but i really just want to help others out. last week i signed on to send money monthly, sort of “adopting” a child in a foreign country.

her name is khadiza.
she’s from bangladesh.
she’s in first grade and loves learning language.

and shes absolutely beautiful

i am in love with this girl and just want her to have a better life. it would be cool if i met her, but probably not.

she may never know my name or that i exist.

but i just hope that her life is that much better
