I now own a solid green hoop with only a slight bend and thickening at the connecting site. My friend and I accidentally bought hot and cold water conducting irrigation tubing which is resistant to the warping pressures of heat to get around the connectors, so we ending up sawing the connectors in half and filling them with Gorilla Glue and applying extra tape to the connection.
I don’t want to check this off until I get a near perfect one. Obviously I need to go back and buy the right tubing, but also I think I’d like a larger one for learning tricks and then a couple of smaller, thicker ones for normal hooping.

The Sun Also Rises
by Ernest Hemingway
I loved it. A story about the happenings of and between a group of travelers and expats in postwar France and Spain, it seems to be an exploration into both the interactions between people and the motivations behind them. A sad, romantic and refreshing book; I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to read a Hemingway novel. Definitely won’t be my last.
