One thing I absolutely cannot stand is when people try to make someone feel guilty about being happy. I guess the phrase misery loves company does actually have a lot of merit. But just because someone else is having a bad day, I refuse to let them drag me down. If they want to be lifted up, then I’ll be right there with a ladder, but I’m cutting the weights off my ankles, starting right now. I mean, I’ve only got an infinitesimally small window of time to live my life in. What’s the average life span running at these days? About 80, I think? Well the way I see it, I’d better make the most of it.
